The Big Bang due to radiation at very low temperatures, the echo of the Big Bang, and because of the expansion of the observable universe with general flight of galaxies. The universe may have deflated then it regonfle as the theory of Grand Rebound? There is no theory of Greater Rebound as the sum of the current knowledge does not, but it is possible to formulate a hypothesis nonetheless optimistic built by speculating on hypothetical and future scientific discoveries. Science is not an act of faith. The scientist has to be permanently in doubt. It must accept that theory, even compatible with the observations of the day, is a theory which may be totally wrong in reality (eg Ptolemy). Or the Big Bang theory is in contradiction with observations such as the major accelerating expansion underscored some ten years. No explanation was given in the "Standard Model". No bidouillage like "Inflation" is coming to the end of this stubborn fact. It merely tinkering equations by adding an arbitrary constant "lambda", which has no other role than being a crutch for support over a dogma dying.
